Pontic Olbia or Olvia is the site of a colony founded by the Milesians (an ancient Greek people) on the shores of the Southern Boog estuary (the Hypanis) in what is now Southern Ukraine. Olvia was eventually abandoned in the 4th century A.D., when it was burnt at least twice in the course of the so-called Gothic (or Scythian) wars.

Nowadays, Olvia is actively excavated by archeologists. Olvian artifacts can be found on display in museums all over the world.
